Light + Building is the world’s leading trade fair for lighting and building services technology where intelligent and networked solutions, future-oriented technologies and current design trends are all explored.
From 18th to 23rd March more than 2,600 exhibitors will be presenting their innovative products in the fields of lighting, electrical engineering as well as home and building automation at Frankfurt Exhibition Centre in Frankfurt am Main.
Over 210,000 visitors will attend the show, almost half come from outside Germany. Amongst the major visitor groups are architects, interior architects, designers, planners and engineers, as well as tradesmen and women and representatives from the retail and wholesale sectors and from industry. Amongst these will be staff members from Energicity.
Richard Alldred who is attending this year’s event told us ‘We are looking forward to one of the major exciting events in the calendar for LED lighting and solutions. It’s important we stay abreast of new technologies, so we can continue to review how these may work within our portfolio and bring new offerings to our customers. LED technology is ever changing, it’s inspiring to visit shows like this and bring ideas home to further assist in our product development.”
Richard takes off with an almost empty suitcase, just so he has space to bring back plenty of samples from the show.
