This year has been challenging for us all, including those business that are responsible for keeping residents safe in their buildings. Energicity has continued to provide it’s services throughout COVID-19 in a safe and compliant way.

We recently worked with Mainstay Group on this development Arbour House, Station Road, Orpington. It’s one of two residential blocks which are mixed-use as there is a  commercial element at ground floor level, with residential leasehold apartments above it.

There was a problem to solve as our client was having difficulties with failed lights, faulty lighting controls and poor aesthetics within the communal areas. Numerous electricians had looked at the lighting previously without being able to resolve the issues. Energicity completed a trial floor on 4th floor of Arbor House to demonstrate the difference that could be made and the residents were delighted with the results.

Richard Alldred, Associate Director, Energicity said, “The residents at Arbour House had several floors where the lighting was inconsistent and had failed in several areas. Other contractors had attempted to resolve the issues without success and Energicity were asked to review the building and show the client and residents what a floor should look like; the results were dramatically different. We worked swiftly to provide them with a list of the problem areas and what remedial works needed doing to solve the issues. The results look great, the residents are happy and we were delighted to be able to solve this long term issue for them.
